the video libraries
The recent DVD/Video Drive solicting donations of hunting DVDs and videos for our troops deployed overseas was an overwhelming success and far exceeded our expectations. Hunters and companies within the waterfowl industry gave more than 1000 videos and over 500 DVDs and the donations continue to arrive. We received hunting videos focused on waterfowl, turkey, big game, and predators. We also got a few Larry the Cable Guy videos which were a favorite of the donors from Minnesota and will give the soldiers a laugh.

The donations came from dozens of individuals from many parts of the USA who took the time to send in videos along with a note of support for our soldiers. Avery Outdoors, Ducks Unlimited, and Zink Calls were companies that went the extra mile by giving attention to this project and by donating hundreds of videos and DVDs for the troops.

ready to be boxed

On Friday March 4, a team at Dynamic Decoys sorted through the donations and prepared them for shipment overseas. Many video and DVD libraries of 10 to 30 titles are ready to be shipped out to military bases, military hospitals, and individual soldiers. Some packages will be shipped direct and others will be given to troops leaving the US soon which will be shared with others when they arrive at their assignments.

Thank you for participating in the video drive. Because of the involvement of generous waterfowlers, many soldiers will get a short break from their stressful jobs and have a chance to think about better days coming in the goose pit or duck blind. Please keep our troops in your thoughts and prayers.

God Bless America,

Jeff Lewis
